| Album Notes |
In this, the time of 'images', our attention has become increasingly diveted to focus on trappings. More and more we cannot hear the song for being blinded by the costumes and lighting. So, too, have sex and love come to be more ritual than passion--dimly lit chess games observed from over the shoulder, be careful not to get too close.
Tim Rose hits you in the belly. He comes without the trimmings-raw, tough and incredibly straight. His is a brutishly simple sexuality-passion without design. (excerpt from sleeve note)
